Joshua S. Franco

Albuquerque painter Joshua S. Franco attributes his early appreciation of beauty to his

mother, a talented oil painter, who colored his upbringing in the gritty manufacturing

center of Allentown, Penn. He studied art and design in Pennsylvania, and in 2000

moved to Taos with his wife, ceramic artist Colleen Constance Franco. Working mostly

in acrylics under a Surrealist influence, Franco has exhibited across the country and in

paris, Korea, China, and Japan. He has studios in downtown albuquerque and at Casa
